In terms of fight, Ascension introduces the possibility to use chained enemies as weapons, while the player can also use the classic sword attack, steal and use enemies’ weapons against them, and influence the flow of time. Quantic Dream, producer of the brilliant Heavy Rain, is coming back with a very promising new project called Beyond: Two Souls. The portable gaming console PlayStation Vita was also in the big picture, following games like Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation and All-Stars Battle Royale. The press conference held by Sony at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2012 (E3 2012) managed to make waves among video games fans, with the event offering new details about a firsthand series of games such as Beyond: Two Souls, from the producers of Heavy Rain, the next God of War named Ascension, which will arrive in March 2013, and The Last of Us.
